9/19/2018 Billy Price, Cin, C
Price, who injured his right foot in the Bengals' Week 2 win over Baltimore, is in a walking boot and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Analysis: The good news is Price, Cincinnati's starting center and first-round pick in this year's draft, did not suffer a Lisfranc injury and won't need surgery. The bad news is the Bengals' offense noticeably struggled after the rookie exited last week's game.
9/19/2018 Thomas Rawls, Cin, RB
The Bengals have signed Rawls.

Analysis: Rawls rushed for 830 yards and four touchdowns during a promising rookie season with Seattle in 2015, but his career has been derailed by injuries since. He'll compete with rookie Mark Walton for backup duty behind Giovani Bernard until Joe Mixon returns from his knee injury, a role that likely won't give Rawls much fantasy potential.
9/19/2018 Aaron Jones, GB, RB
Jones, suspended for the season's first two games for a substance abuse violation, will be on the Packers' active roster for Sunday's game at Washington. However, coach Mike McCarthy said the running back will start out behind Jamaal Williams and Ty Montgomery on the depth chart.

Analysis: "Jamaal and Ty have played good football. I know what Aaron gives us, but his role will be secondary," McCarthy said. "Jamaal and Ty will be in the first slot." Jones averaged 5.5 yards per carry as a rookie last season, but right now he's strictly a handcuff for fantasy purposes.
9/19/2018 Kelvin Benjamin, Buf, WR
Benjamin is dealing with a hip injury and will be a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Analysis: Benjamin is still expected to play Sunday at Minnesota. Though the 6-foot-5 wideout leads the Bills with 10 targets through two games, he's managed just three catches thus far and is touchdown-dependent for fantasy value at this point.
9/19/2018 Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Jax, TE
Seferian-Jenkins (core muscle) is expected to sit out practice Wednesday.

Analysis: He's caught six passes for 48 yards and a TD in the first two games.
9/19/2018 T.J. Yeldon, Jax, RB
Yeldon (ankle) is expected to sit out practice Wednesday.

Analysis: The good news is that Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is expected to return to practice. Fournette ran nine times for 41 yards in the season opener before getting hurt and sitting out last week. Yeldon has rushed 24 times for 109 yards in the first two games.
9/19/2018 Leonard Fournette, Jax, RB
The Jaguars expect Fournette to return to practice Wednesday, a step toward playing against AFC South rival Tennessee.

Analysis: Fournette strained his right hamstring in the season opener at the New York Giants and missed last week's victory against the New England Patriots. He ran nine times for 41 yards in the opener before getting hurt.
9/19/2018 Jordan Matthews, Phi, WR
The Philadelphia Eagles have signed Matthews.

Analysis: Matthews played his first three seasons with the Eagles before he was traded to Buffalo in August 2017. He signed with the Patriots in April but was released during training camp. A 2014 second-round pick from Vanderbilt, Matthews averaged 75 receptions, 891 yards and six touchdowns per season in Philadelphia. He had 25 catches for 282 yards and one TD in 10 games for Buffalo.
9/18/2018 Jay Ajayi, Phi, RB
Ajayi (back) was held out of Wednesday's practice and remains uncertain to play Sunday against the Colts. Eagles coach Doug Pederson called the running back day-to-day during Wednesday's media session.

Analysis: The Eagles promoted rookie running back Josh Adams from the practice squad Tuesday, a possible indicator that they're not expecting to have Ajayi available. Ajayi has reached the end zone three times already after scoring one rushing TD all of last season. If he's not scoring, though, he hasn't been much of a factor, averaging just 42.5 rushing yards a game.
9/18/2018 Takkarist McKinley, Atl, DE
McKinley is being slowed by a groin injury.

Analysis: McKinley has notched a sack in each of Atlanta's first two games.
9/17/2018 Mike Davis, Sea, RB
Mike Davis ran for three yards on three carries Monday in the Seattle Seahawks' 24-17 loss to the Chicago Bears. He added one reception for -1 yards.
9/17/2018 Mitchell Trubisky, Chi, QB
Mitchell Trubisky was 25 of 34 for 200 yards and threw two touchdown passes Monday in the Chicago Bears' 24-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks. He threw two interceptions, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Trubisky added 24 rushing yards on five carries.
9/17/2018 Russell Wilson, Sea, QB
Russell Wilson was 22 of 36 for 226 yards and threw two touchdown passes Monday in the Seattle Seahawks' 24-17 loss to the Chicago Bears. He threw one interception, fumbled once and was sacked six times. Wilson added 17 rushing yards on three carries.
9/17/2018 Jarvis Landry, Cle, WR
Landry was listed as a limited participant in Monday's practice due to a knee injury.

Analysis: Landry played 59 of Cleveland's 62 offensive snaps in Sunday's game at New Orleans, so owners shouldn't be concerned about his availability for Thursday's matchup with the Jets. He's been Tyrod Taylor's No. 1 target as expected so far, recording 12 catches for 175 yards through the first two weeks.
9/17/2018 Josh Gordon, NE, WR
The Browns have traded problematic wide receiver Josh Gordon to the Patriots for a fifth-round draft pick. The deal came together Monday, two days after the Browns reached a breaking point with Gordon, who has been suspended for much of his NFL career. Gordon played in Cleveland's season opener, but reported to the team on Saturday with a hamstring injury after practicing all week.

Analysis: Gordon's tantalizing talent had caused the Browns to hang onto him while he dealt with drug and alcohol dependence. He missed training camp to receive treatment and the Browns were cautiously optimistic he would help them this season.
9/17/2018 LeSean McCoy, Buf, RB
McCoy (ribs) will be a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Analysis: McCoy cracked cartilage in his ribs during last week's game against the Chargers but appears inclined to play through the injury, though there's a strong chance his workload is reduced if he is active for Sunday's contest against the Vikings. The standout running back hasn't gotten off to a very good start due to Buffalo's big offensive struggles, and he draws a tough matchup in Minnesota's strong defense this week.
9/17/2018 Marcus Mariota, Ten, QB
Mariota (elbow) likely won't play again this at Jacksonville.

Analysis: Mariota was active but did not play in Sunday's win over the Texans.
9/17/2018 Daniel Carlson, Min, K
The Vikings have waived rookie kicker Daniel Carlson, after the fifth-round draft pick pulled all three of his field goal attempts wide right at Green Bay.

Analysis: Two of Carlson's misses came in overtime on Sunday, forcing the Vikings to settle for a 29-29 tie with the rival Packers. Carlson was cut on Monday, as the Vikings signed wide receiver Aldrick Robinson.
9/17/2018 Zane Gonzalez, Cle, K
A person familiar with the decision says the Cleveland Browns will sign free agent kicker Greg Joseph to replace Gonzalez, who missed four attempts in Sunday's loss at New Orleans.

Analysis: Gonzalez misfired on two extra points and two field-goal attempts, including a 52-yarder in the final seconds that would have forced overtime on Sunday. After his last kick sailed off course, Gonzalez sat alone hanging his head while sitting on the Browns' bench before being consoled by Saints kicker Wil Lutz.
9/17/2018 Greg Joseph, Cle, K
A person familiar with the decision says the Browns will sign Joseph to replace Zane Gonzalez, who missed four attempts in Sunday's loss at New Orleans.

Analysis: Joseph was picked over several other kickers who came in for tryouts on Monday, said the person who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team has not announced the signing. Joseph was with the Miami Dolphins during training camp and the preseason. He played at Florida Atlantic.
